Concrete delivered at site or in to the purchaser’s vehicle in a plastic condition and requiring no further treatment before being placed in the position in which it is to set and harden. (Readymix Indian Standards 4926-1976)

Readymix Concrete is transported to the site in plastic condition without affecting the composition and without any further treatment in transit mixers, which are trucks fitted with rotating drums for carrying the concrete.

It depends on the capacity of the concrete pump being deployed for the concreting. Neptune Concrete presently deploys Model 350 D Schwing concrete pumps which can pump upto 300 m horizontally and 70 m vertically (i.e upto 20 floors), and @ of 35 Cum/hr of concrete.

Placing of the concrete is done as per the Purchaser / Clients requirement. However spreading, compacting and levelling the same lies with the Purchaser / Client.

Each transit mixer has a capacity to transport 7 cum of concrete at a time. Since mobilisation of pump and pipe line is required, for pumping, orders below 15 cum is not economical for the purchaser .Where pumping is not required even orders for 6 cum can be supplied.
